The more accurate the job is, the more likely your project will succeed. In this context, how often do PMs consider Compliance and Internal Control at this stage? Today, in a world with growing organizations, keen to launch their IPOs, with increasingly cross-department projects, increasingly integrated systems, corporate compliance is one of the fastest growing areas. Projects need to deliver efficiency, but at the same time, must comply with internal policies and ensure there will be elements to protect organizations from the growing risk of fraud. In this context, PMs who are familiar with the characteristics of corporate governance and internal control principles are more likely to succeed.
