Levent Erkan

Levent Erkan has graduated from TED Ankara College and METU in Ankara. He has completed his Masters 3.75 GPA at SIUE in the USA.

He has worked in the US from 1996 till 2003 in the Projects in the area of Change Management and Project Management in St Louis, Ft. Lauderdale, Jacksonville, Charlotte and finally as Regional Manager of DeLeeuw from the Wall Street in the New York Region.

He has come back from New York to Ankara in 2003 and started up DeLeeuw International in Turkey as a Managing Partner. It has become of the fastest growing consulting company in the Public and International Donor Market (EU) in Turkey in 2006. The company has then been acquired by WYG Group in 2007. Levent became, first the Country Manager of Turkey for WYG and then WYG Balkans Regional Director. He has worked as one of the three Regional Unit Head of WYG Group who is responsible from Turkey, Middle East and North Africa between 2012 and 2016. He has grown the company by 21 times in the last 7 years. He has contracted more than 3000 Consultants and 200 Full Time Staff from 25 different countries. His portfolio of projects and clients include more than 85 projects in Turkey, US, Europe, Middle East, North Africa, Central Asia and Northern Cyprus.

He has been awarded the Leadership in Excellence at WYG Group. He has been awarded the Best Project Management Consultant. He is certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

He is also Audit Board Member of TED University as a social responsibility and Instructor at TOBB MBA for Project Management activities.

He is an accredited Business Angel. He has published more than 25 Articles in the National Journals about Change Management and Project Management. He has been the Key Speaker at more than 10 major Summits. He has been on cover of Ekonometri in January, 2016 as the Leader of Project Management.

3 Times Marathon Finisher: 42 km Runner in New York 2002 and in Istanbul 2013 and in Stockholm 2014 which has completed the runs in the America, Asia and Europe. He has run for Foundation for the Training and Protection of Mentally Handicapped Children (ZİÇEV) 12 times in 8 different locations as a social responsibility to support Ziçev.
